First Baptist is a community church, located in south Rapid City, just off of 8th street, on St. Patrick.

Rapid City has a population of 70,000 with a metro population of over 90,000. Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, and home of Mount Rushmore, the cities primary source of revenue is tourism.

Because of the surrounding hills, the weather in Rapid City is mild. Even though all four seasons exist, it is not uncommon to see days in the 60’s throughout the winter months.
